What fleet managers say
We had two twenty six foot box trucks clipped in the same week. Estimating had written scopes back in a day and both units were back on Santa Ana routes inside nine business days. That is the part that matters to me.
Straight answers on what the carrier would cover and what we were paying out of pocket. No surprises on the final invoice.
They painted eleven cargo vans over six weeks on a schedule we set, two at a time, and we never dropped a route. The color matched across all eleven, which sounds obvious until you have had it go wrong somewhere else.
The supplement came with photographs attached and the adjuster approved it without a second visit. That saved us about a week.
Our dock damage was a monthly line item. They rebuilt three rear frames and rehung the roll doors, then walked our yard layout with us on the phone. We changed two approach angles and the damage rate dropped noticeably.
Service body install on four new chassis, all four done the same week, all four with identical shelf layouts. Our techs did not have to relearn anything.
We are seventeen miles out and it still beat the two closer shops on turnaround because they did not have to sublet the structural work anywhere.
Trailer floor rebuild on two forty eight foot units. Nine business days each, and they showed us the crossmember photos before and after.
The written scope was itemized clearly enough that I could take it into a budget meeting and defend every line. Nobody asked me a question I could not answer.
They told us a small bumper scuff was not worth the trip up the 55 and to bundle it with the next real job. I did not expect that from a body shop.
Reefer panel damage on two units. They handled the panel and the seal work and were upfront that the refrigeration side had to go to our regular vendor. We scheduled both in one week instead of two.
Graphics removal and full repaint on nine units after we lost a contract and had to strip the old branding fast. Clean removal, no ghosting.
Frame rack work on a unit two other shops had already looked at and passed on. Measurements before and after, printed and in the file. It drove straight afterward.
The deposit structure was clear from the start. Fifty percent up front on the big one, another twenty five when the parts landed, balance at release. Nothing moved on us.
We drop two at a time and follow with a second driver. Takes about forty minutes each way from our Santa Ana yard in the morning. It is a routine now.
Liftgate rebuilds on six units. They flagged that our gate capacity was undersized for the pallets we actually run, which nobody had ever told us. We resized the spec on the next four.
An electric delivery van took a hard hit. They followed the published repair procedure for the structure and coordinated the high voltage isolation with the dealer before touching it. Cautious in the right way.
Twelve units repainted to one color over a quarter. Every one of them matches. Our resale broker noticed.
Rear frame, roll door and both corner posts on a unit that backed into a dock plate. Eight business days, and the door tracked properly for the first time in a year.
Upfit on six new cargo vans. Shelving, bulkheads and interior lighting, all identical, all done before the drivers were even hired.
They kept our fleet color formula on file. Three years later a replacement panel came out the same shade as the rest of the unit, which is not something I have gotten anywhere else.
Six units damaged in one yard incident. They staged the intake so we never had more than two down at once, and the last one was back in five weeks.
Corrosion work under the rockers on four coastal route units. They showed me exactly where the salt was getting in and what to change in the wash cycle.
The release call came with photos and the unit was staged and ready when our driver got there. Small thing, but it means the driver is not standing around in a lobby.

Put a unit on the schedule
Send the unit number, the damage, and a few photos. You get a written scope and a price band back, not a sales call.
All work is performed at our Yorba Linda facility. Estimates are scheduled, not walk up.
